I’ve gone through divorce after being a stay-at-home dad for 3 1/2 years, so I've lived the experience. I was dealing with depression in 2019 and when I came home from a trip by myself to visit my ailing parents in CT, I was blindsided by my wife who had begun an affair and dropped the bomb on me that she no longer wanted to be married. I was heartbroken in many ways to say the least. We started mediation, used it well for a couple months, however with just one more mutual session needed, she decided to bail on that too, and so the litigation process began. 1 1/2 years and tens of thousands of dollars later our divorce was finalized.
With professional support as well as help from family and friends I transitioned into my new life. Other tough life challenges came my way and so did the pandemic! I took time deciding how to work from home while being able to help people in a significant way. And my journey as a coach, mentor, and speaker had begun.
Now a single dad trained and certified as a divorce coach my specialty is working with dads & moms of young kids. The end goal of my work is to have happy kids in two homes. And of course my coaching techniques can help people without kids as well! Your divorce can be handled efficiently and with reduced conflict. By making fact-based, fair minded decisions that support your transition into your new life, you can live in a space where you’re proud of your co-parenting and how you are creating a new legacy.

A divorce coach is someone on your divorce team focused on your future, starting over, and transitioning into your new life. Arguably anyone going through a divorce would benefit from a divorce coach’s help. Therapists and counselors perform a much different role that maybe not every person going through divorce needs.
